It was a beautiful day in the Arizona desert.

The kids had a blast at Rooster Cogburn's Ostrich Ranch. That is until Katy got nipped by one of those rotten Ostriches. I think she was more shocked/scared than hurt (no marks).
Alice's favorite part of the ranch was the pen full o' asses. There was even a little baby ass! She was in ass heaven!
The Hanes girls are sooooo sweet the Lorikeets couldn't get enough of them.
Ben amongst the Fallow Deer.Abby found one that would even snuggle with her (she wasn't even holding any food).
We drove out to Vail, AZ and got to spend a couple of days with our good friends, the Pedersons.
We really appreciate you guys letting us stay with you and taking the time to goof off with us. We had so much fun! Next time you guys are back in CA we'll try to find somethings to do that can hold a candle to the fun we had out your way.

We had a great time. I just wish wish it was for longer. I love the picture of Alice and I with the Shirtless Hunk. Katy even was rubbing his chest saying how Handsome he was. We now know where she gets that from. Her MAMA! I can not wait until you guys can come back for the Biosphere!! Thanks again for the guns - Sam and Dallin have not put them down.
